California Bans Weed Delivery by Drones and Self-Driving Cars
California has declared the newly-legalized drug cannot lawfully be delivered via unmanned vehicles, including drones and self-driving cars. The new requirement completely upends the plans of several marijuana delivery startups that planned to tap into drone technology.

Hawaii Goes Cashless for Marijuana Sales
To prevent robberies, medical marijuana dispensaries in Hawaii won’t be accepting cash beginning Oct. 1 and will require people to use a debit payment app instead. The app is already being used for marijuana transactions in six states, including California and Colorado.

Marijuana Growers are Choosing to Stay in the Shadow
