China Is Blaming Canada For Its Cannabis Problem But Produces 50 Percent Of The World’s Supply
Canada’s legalization of cannabis this year wasn’t met with red envelope-like celebration by Chinese government officials. Roughly 20% of Canada’s total marijuana production ($1.2 billion worth) was sold illegally beyond the country’s borders last year, a good portion believed to be China-bound.
Oklahoma and Pennsylvania Could Soon Legalize Adult-Use Cannabis
Oklahoma and Pennsylvania are at different places on their respective paths toward adult-use cannabis legalization. In Pennsylvania, State Rep. Jake Wheatley (D-Allegheny) announced his plan to introduce progressive marijuana legislation. And in Oklahoma, the cannabis advocacy group Green the Vote announced it had acquired the required number of signatures to put a vote for adult-use legalization on the ballot in November.
Michigan Dems Hoping Legalization Drives Youth Vote
A proposal to legalize marijuana will be on Michigan’s November ballot, putting the state on the cusp of allowing recreational use of the drug for those 21 and older. If approved, Michigan would become the 10th state and the first in the Midwest to allow its recreational use.

Almost 20% of the failures were due to excessive pesticide residue, about 6% from microbial impurities and 5% due to the presence of concentrated waxes and oils that harbor residual solvents like ethanol and butane.

Georgia Quietly Legalizes Cannabis Joining Canada and Uruguay
Georgia has become the first country in the former Soviet Union to legalize the consumption of marijuana after the country’s constitutional court released a statement on July 30 stating that the administrative fines usually handed out for the smoking of weed had effectively been abolished.
