They Let Their 15-Year-Old Son Smoke Pot to Stop His Seizures. Georgia Took Him Away.
A Georgia couple is facing charges after they gave their son marijuana to treat his seizures. Matthew and Suzeanna Brills decided to let their 15-year-old son David try marijuana as a possible solution to his lifelong battle with seizures. The drug started to limit David’s seizures, according to the parents. That decision now has their son in state custody and the Brills facing possible jail time.

Banned from Wall Street, US Cannabis Companies Go North
US cannabis companies are heading north to list on stock exchanges in Canada, where there’s no federal ban on marijuana sales. Medical marijuana is legal there, and the country is in the process of legalizing recreational marijuana, too.

Los Angeles City Attorney Begins Crackdown on Unlicensed Weed Businesses
The Los Angeles City Attorney has begun a crackdown on unlicensed weed businesses in the city. City Attorney Mike Feuer said his office has already filed 36 criminal cases that involve 32 stores and 140 individuals. He also had a warning for those still selling cannabis without a license.

President Trump is set to sign legislation which will make medical marijuana federally legal for terminally ill patients. The bill, known as the “Right to Try Act,” will prohibit the FDA from banning natural cures, and allow patients to try medications that have not been approved by the FDA, but are currently under clinical trial.

New Competitive Weed Cooking Show Coming to Netflix
The show, aptly titled Cooking On High, is set to debut on June 22nd. The show will be hosted by comedian and YouTube sensation, Josh Leyva. The new-age cooking program will pit 10 chefs against each other to see who can come up with the best tasting and most creative dish for a panel of four celebrity judges.
