“Entourage Effect” in the News
Each strain of cannabis contains hundreds of chemical compounds. We are all familiar with THC, and CBD being the stars of the show, and companies are rushing to isolate these compounds to create products. The Entourage Effect refers to the synergic working of many of these compounds that produce the known benefits, and characteristics of each cannabis strain. It’s still a controversial subject, and currently in the news partially because of the recent announcement of CannaRoyalty’s launch of “The Terpistry” research to study the interaction between cannabinoids and terpenes, a diverse class of aromatic organic molecules.
