You can manage light, temperature, humidity, water levels, nutrients and pH levels to produce a unique plant each time. During the grow process, you have the ability to rotate and zoom to examine their plant in high resolution detail.

 

Along the way useful tips and educational information are available to guide and inform. When a successful plant is grown, you can keep a mother plant and crossbreed to capture great genetics, perfect a grow, experiment with technique and share photos of your plant.

simLeaf Highlights:

  • All major macro and micro nutrients are simulated (P, K, Ca, N, Mg, S, Fe, Mn, Zn, B, Cu, Mo).
  • Nutrient absorption affected by pH level.
  • Nutrient conditions (under/over feeding) will affect old and/or new growth, causing leaves to display tip burn, necrosis, yellowing, darkening, whitening, curling, folding, and twisting.
  • Light penetration, stretching and light burn are realistically simulated. Leaves take damage; color and drop from plant when starved or burned.
  • Time compression to allow users to grow a plant at different speeds (Turtle, Rabbit & Rocket).

  • Buds are realistically represented with each variety having its own genetic information controlling the formation of bracts of calyx.
  • Sugar leaves and calyx are covered with trichomes, all ripening from clear to cloudy to amber individually allowing for visual inspection and determination of best harvest time.
  • Hairs spring from each calyx – tufts of white hairs being the first indication of budding, slowly coloring, curling and withdrawing into calyx as ripening occurs while new white hairs spring from each new calyx as the plant matures.
  • Robust Analytics can be viewed at anytime to allow the grower to ne-tune their technique.

  • Yes, we have the Purps! Purple leaves, a variety of colored calyx and hairs are tossed in for good measure.
  • Seed varieties range from easy to grow compact plants to dif cult to manage connoisseur varieties.
  • Trimming of branches causing multiple main grow stems, initially slowing then boosting growth.
  • Mother plants can be created from any growing plant, allowing clones to be grown from them.
  • Any two mother plants may be crossed to produce endless genetic variation.
  • Skip Forward – Allows growers to skip forward in time by 1 to 5 days for rapid learning.

Genetics & Proprietary Physical Seed Modeling

All aspects of how a plant looks and grows are controlled by the genetic information. Each seed variety has its own genetic factors producing unique, one-of-a-kind plants.. Taking a mother plant captures the genetics of the particular seed, so clones grown from it will have the identical characteristics. The genetic possibilities are endless!

Genetic Information Represented:

  • For Buds: quantity, shape, size, bracts, color, sugar leaf quantity, trich coverage, aroma, taste, effect, THC and CBD levels.
  • For Leaves: number of fronds, thickness, length, angular deviation, propensity to purple as plant matures.
  • For Stems: thickness, width and height, propensity to branch, length of stretch phase, speed of growth, propensity to stretch for light, feeding requirements and tolerances for all macro and micro nutrients, damage rates, branch angles and more.
